Among his many professions, Willy Wiedmann worked as a church muralist. To him, the Biblical history was thus a theme that had long been familiar to him due to his work. Later in life, instead of realigning as an artist, he sought a new approach as well as a new challenge to his theme: He wanted to create the world’s longest painted Bible.
He implemented this project over a course of 16 years — by means of meditative persistency and his scientific expertise.
