| Description |
English: Remains of the ferry Leschi, circa 1978, in Alaska's Shotgun Cove near Whittier. The boat was originally commissioned as a steam side-wheeler that serviced a ferry run between Seattle and Kirkland, was later converted to diesel power, and eventually sold in to Alaska where it was a cannery in Cordova before being wrecked in a storm. The photo was taken by deceased photographer Mike Milton and uploaded here under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license by his son Bryce Milton who inherited the copyrights to do so. |
