Description
English: "The end of the rainbow, Golden Square" painted by George Rowe in 1857. Depicts gold-mining in the Bendigo Valley, and the aspirations of the diggers to find gold just like had been found at Golden Square in 1851. Also depicts the settlement that had grown in the area around Golden Square in the 6 year period 1851 to 1857.
