Deutsch: Die Torri Morandi am Boden sind ehemalige Kabelgegengewichtstürme, mit hier beispielhaft eingefügten Stromleitungen zum Freileitungshochmastmast im Norden Messinas, im Ortsteil Torro Faro. Sie sorgten für das Spannen der 3646 Meter langen Stromfreileitungen.
English: The Torri Morandi on the ground are former cable counterweight towers. The towers provided the tensioning of 3646 meters of overhead power lines. Although the actual power lines have been dismantled, lines have been added to the image to illustrate their path to the overhead transmission tower in the north of Messina, in the district of Torro Faro.
Italiano: Le Torri Morandi a terra sono ex torri di contrappeso dei cavi, con qui esemplarmente inserite linee elettriche fino alla torre di trasmissione aerea a nord di Messina, nel quartiere di Torro Faro. Erano responsabili della messa in tensione dei 3646 metri di linee elettriche aeree. |
