English: Train passing Shalee station Opened in 1903 and closed in 1963, the very basic station at Shalee (between Birdhill and Nenagh on the Ballybrophy - Limerick line) was still in good condition in 1975 when passed by a CIE 001 class locomotive with a Silvermines - Foynes ore train.
