Summary

Description
English: Plate and screen grid current vs screen grid voltage in a transitron oscillator. The transitron is a negative resistance oscillator using a pentode vacuum tube. It was used as local oscillators and beat frequency oscillators in vacuum tube superheterodyne radio receivers from the 1940s to the 1970s.
