Summary

Description
English: Trinity College in 1566, the year of Elizabeth I's visit to the city. Part of a series depicting the colleges as then were. The view is more or less North from Broad Street; only a little of the structure survives, though the view remains easily recognisable to present students.

Source durhamworldheritagesite.com (c.f. Hopkins 2005, Trinity: 450 years of an Oxford college community). Probably drawn from the copy of Bereblock's originals donated by John More to the Bodleian Library in 1630.
Author Original, now lost, by John Bereblock (fl.1557–1572). Scan, or possibly photograph, probably by a representative of Trinity College.
