Description
English: Bay of Biscay, 1943-07-30. Depth charge attack on German submarine U-461 by Sunderland aircraft "U" of No. 461 Squadron RAAF. This u-boat was one of three attacked by Sunderland "U" of 461 Squadron RAAF, Halifax "B" of 502 Squadron RAF and Liberator "O" of No. 53 Squadron RAF. This photograph was taken from Sunderland "U".
