English: DN-SC-97-00774...PACIFIC OCEAN OFF OAHU, HAWAII...1 Sep 1995......The guided missile destroyer USS JOHN S. McCAIN (DDG-56) passes Diamond Head as part of a parade of ships during the 50th anniversary of B-J Day in celebration of the end of the World War II. The McCAIN is named for one of the admirals who was in command of the fast carrier task forces of World War II.
