Summary

Description The U.S. Navy ammunition ship USS Mauna Kea (AE-22) highlines ammunition to the aircraft carrier USS Bennington (CVS-20) in the Gulf of Tonkin on 10 September 1968. Bennington, with assigned Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 59 (CVSG-59), was deployed to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 30 April to 9 November 1968.
