Description
English: Central Command's area of Responsibility (Mar. 29, 2003) — The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS O’Kane (DDG-77) conducts underway operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. O’Kane was one of many U.S. Navy surface combatants to fire Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
