Description The U.S. Navy submarine tender USS Simon Lake (AS-33) docked at Kings Bay, Georgia (USA), on 1 December 1981. The Simon Lake provided refit, repair, and supply functions for the nuclear-powered fleet ballistic missile submarines of U.S. Navy Submarine Squadron 16.
