Description
English: Class 378 unit 378225 departs Haggerston with a Dalston Junction service. This is one of the 378/2 subclass, being dual voltage (note pantograph in down position). The first 24 378/0s (also dual voltage) were built as three-car units and are in the process of having a fourth car added to become 378/2s. 378225 is the first 378/2 unit to be built with four cars from scratch. The DC-only 378/1 subclass usually used on the East London Line were built without pantographs, but with four cars from the outset.
