Description
English: Founder's stock certificate of the Société des Usines Chimiques Rhone-Poulenc for 100 francs, issued on 5 September 1928 in Paris, with the signature of Hippolyte-Eugène Boyer as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, who had already been Chairman of the Société Chimique des Usines du Rhône since 1900. Hippolyte-Eugène Boyer was a French officer and colonial administrator. He served as a colonial official in French Indochina and held various positions in the administration, including governor of Cochinchina (present-day South Vietnam). He was also a member of the French Parliament.
