English: The caption of this photograph published in the USNAS Jax Air News states: "E" Pilots All—Pilots of VF-11, the "Red Rippers" squadron, have reached aviation's hall of fame with every pilot garnering an "E" in annual competitive dive high angle loft bombing—the first 100 percent in history. Left to right, kneeling: Comdr. Ed Feightner, skipper; Lcdr. Bud Gear, executive officer; Lt(jg) Chester Stewart; Lt. Merle Rice; Lt(jg) Richard O'Connor; and Lt. Ed Trzcinski.
