DescriptionVeli Pasha mosque, Rethymno - front view.jpg
English: The Veli Pasha mosque (or Mastaba mosque from the quarter it is located) in Rethymno. It is thought that it was built on top of the Venetian St Onuphrius church, and also housed a madrasah. It features nine domes and the oldest surviving minaret in Rethymno (built in 1789). Today it houses the Rethymno branch of the Goulandris Museum of Natural History.
