Dansk: Vindelev-skatten bød blandt andet på fundet af brakteat X10, der er ikke mindre end verdens største brakteat. Selvom brakteaten er fundet i sammenfoldet tilstand så kan det bestemmes, at den med en diameter på mindst 138 mm slår den hidtidige brakteatstørrelsesrekordholder, brakteaten fra Åsum i Skåne fundet i 1882. X10-brakteaten fra Vindelev-skatten vejer endvidere 123,7 gr, hvilket er 23,4 gr mere end brakteaten fra Skåne, der dog mangler sit øsken til ophængning. Centermotivet på brakteaten, der dog som følge af sammenfoldningen er godt skjult, viser to kongelignende tvillinger. Brakteaten var sammen med resten af Vindelev-skatten udstillet på udstillingen 'Magt og guld - vikinger i øst' på Vejle Kunstmuseum, der havde åbent fra d. 7. april til d. 18. december 2022. Dette viser et udsnit af filigranarbejdet omkring brakteatens øsken. |
