Description The shell of a deep water sea snail in the genus Guilfordia and the family Turbinidae. This is presumably Guilfordia yoka.The dusky turban snail (Tegula pulligo) is usually on kelp; once it falls to the bottom, it is easy prey for a number of predators, including sea stars, whelks, and octopus.A turbo marmoratus collected near Toliara (Tulear), Madagascar
