English: Most of Vieira da Silva crater on Mercury. The east rim is visible at right, and the southern rim has been disrupted by craters in lower left. The small prominent crater in lower left is Mena. MESSENGER Narrow Angle Camera mosaic (EN0211631594M, EN0211631596M, EN0211674854M, EN0211674856M). The upper two images were acquired 2011-04-18, and the lower two images a day later on 2011-04-19. Approximate north is at top. |
