Summary

Description {
Deutsch: Armreif, Ende 1. Jh. v. bis Ende 1. Jh. n. Chr. Silber, Herkunft unteres Donaugebiet (Serbien).
English: Bracelet, end of the 1st century B.C. to the end of the 1st century A.D. Silver, origin lower Danube area (Serbia). Part of the Treasure find. The silver vessels and the bracelet were found together with 274 coins in the rubble after the bombing of Vienna's inner city in 1945. The casserole, most especially, with the gold inlaid inscription MERCVRIO, indicates that the vessels belonged to a temple inventory. There, they could ahve been used for mixing and pouring libation.
