Summary
| Description |
English: The picture is a Greek Catholic icon depicting Mary, the mother of Jesus. The icon was painted in the end of the 18th century as part of the iconostasis of the Greek Catholic Cathedral of Hajdúdorog, Hungary. Mary's icon is one of the three icons that top the whole iconostasis, part of the so called Golgotha scene. Mary is standing on the left side of Jesus' cross.
Magyar: A kép Szűz Mária görög katolikus ikonját ábrázolja. Az ikont a 18. század végén festették, a hajdúdorogi görög katolikus székesegyház ikonosztázára. Mária ikonja az ikonosztáz tetején elhelyezkedő három ikon egyike, az úgynevezett Golgota jelenet része. Mária alakja Jézus keresztjének balján látható. |
