Reverse of 1860-1900 carte de visite photo of a seated mother and child, by W H Gill of 88 James Street, Devonport, England (later of 33 Catherine Street).

  • The mother and daughter are wearing silk dresses of possibly matching colour
  • The mother is wearing a hairstyle and jacket in the 1850s style, although she could still be wearing the same clothes in the 1860s.
