Description
日本語: 和中散本舗是斎(栗東町)。東海道名所図会(1797年)より。定斎薬・是斎薬(ぜさいぐすり)を販売。「雍州府志(ようしゆうふし)」(1682年)によると是斎薬は明(みん)の沈惟敬(しんいけい)が豊臣秀吉に霊薬の処方を献じ、秀吉からそれを賜った大坂の薬商定斎なる者がつくりはじめたという。「雍州府志」が書かれた当時すでに近江の梅木(うめのき)(現、滋賀県栗太郡栗東町)の名物になっており、〈定斎和中散(ぜさいわちゆうさん)〉〈是斎和中散〉と称して商っていた。
