Description

Historic Cabin in Placerita Canyon State Park, originally built in 1920 by pioneer homesteader Frank E. Walker, has recently been restored and furnished.

Frank and wife Hortense, raised 12 children here, occupying the small cabin mainly during the winer months when the rain-swollen creek blocked passage to0 the other larger residences further up the canyon.
