العربية: هو إناء كبير من حجر الكلس الأبيض يعتبر من أثمن المعروضات في المتحف العراقي، عثر عليه في الوركاء يعود زمنه إلى عصر جَمدة نصر (3000-2900 ق.م) وقد نقشت عليه مناظر طقوس دينية تمثل مواكب الكهنة وهم يحملون سلال وجرار فيها فاكهة وزيت وخمر يتقدمهم شخص كبير قد يكون ملك أو إله ويتبع هذا الموكب صفوف من الأكباش والنعاج وسنابل القمح وأشجار النخيل، وهو من الأثار التي سرقت أثناء أحداث (2003) وأعيد إلى المَتحف العراقي (المعروف بالاناء النذري).
Français : Le vase de Warka est un grand vase de calcaire blanc, l'une des pièces centrales du musée irakien. Trouvé à Warka, il remonte à l'époque de Djemdet Nasr (3150-2900 av. J.-C.) et est gravé de scènes illustrant des rituels religieux, des processions de prêtres portant des paniers et des pots de fruits, de l’huile et du vin. Devant eux, une grande personne : peut-être un roi ou un dieu. Ce convoi est suivi de rangées de brebis, de blé et de palmiers. Le vase de Warka est l’une des antiquités volées lors des événements (2003) et restituée au Musée irakien en 2015. English: The Warka vase is a large white limestone vase, one of the central pieces of the Iraqi Museum. Found in Warka, it dates back to the time of Djemdet Nasr (3150-2900 BC. B.C.) and is engraved with scenes illustrating religious rituals, processions of priests carrying baskets and fruit pots, oil and wine. In front of them, a great person: maybe a king or a god. This convoy is followed by rows of sheep, wheat and palm trees. The Warka vase is one of the antiques stolen during the events (2003) and returned to the Iraqi Museum in 2015. |
