Summary

Description
English: Artist's rendering of the proposed visitors screening center at the base of the Washington Monument in the District of Columbia in the United States. A screening center was erected as a security measure in 2001 after the September 11 terrorist attacks. This temporary structure will be replaced with a two-story, all-glass, blast-resistant, facility. The new facility was approved in March 2014.
