Created on MATLAB (version 7.6.0) using the Wavelet toolbox: wavelet 'mexh', iterated 20 times to produce 1048576 data points in the x-range [-8,8], only 655360 of these points are shown (points in [-5 5])

plot(x,y)
axis([-5 5 -1 1])
set(gcf,'color','white')
