Summary
DescriptionWeißenbach (Steinach)-cutting explosive charge-blasting I-beam (vertical assembly)-prepare-02ASD.jpg |
English: Linear cutting explosive charges for the separation of objects (here an I-beam that is loaded vertically). Ignition from two sides (narrow side), which doubles the cutting effect. The separation cut is made along the cutting charge, the correct distance of the explosive from the object being very important. The blast site must be cleaned thoroughly before blasting. The detonators may only be inserted very slightly into the explosive in order to achieve the highest possible explosive effect. The hole previously cut into the middle of the i-beam (in the neutral zone) serves to pre-weaken the carrier, meaning less explosives are needed. The staggered attachment of the load is necessary so that the carrier can slip sideways after the explosion. |
