Summary
[edit]Description |
A photograph of William Adams (1864 - 1913) who was a well known Gorleston lifesaver and who was recognised as having saved 140 lives from drowning. This photo is an enlarged section of a photo of Gorleston Swimming Club of which William Adams was the instructor. The date and photographer are unknown but it was likely to have been taken in approx. 1906 & it is a strong possibility that it was taken by club member Frank Keymer who passed away in 1915. |
