Summary

Description
English: The Panuco swordtail (Xiphophorus nigrensis) is endemic to a small part of the Pánuco River basin in Mexico.

The Xiphophorus nigrensis exhibits three relatively discrete male body-size classes that derive from allelic variation at the Y-linked pituitary (P) locus.
