A few months after Penny Mayes took this picture <a href="https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1283004">SJ9856 : Woolworths, Leek</a> of the former Woolworths store in Leek it re-opened as the Yorkshire Trading Company. This company are based in Driffield, Yorkshire and appear to be expanding by taking over quite a few of the old "Woolies" stores. Their range of stock is very similar to Woolworths with reasonable prices. |
