| Description |
English: This image was used as a logo for the Zoo Gems (Gems of the Galaxy Zoos) project for Hubble Space Telescope observations during public input for the target list. The underlying image shows the galaxy IC 2497 and Hanny's Voorwerp with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, and the overlay demonstrates setting the orientation of the small field-of-view of the narrowband ramp filters on board Hubble using the Astronomer's Proposal Tool (APT) and ALADIN spftware distributed by the Space Telescope Science Institute. Similar examination of the field would need to be done for Zoo Gems observations. |
