Maple Tree by Japanese painter Hasegawa Tōhaku in the 16th and 17th centuries. Painting dated 1592. Originally a painted for the four panels of fusuma (sliding wall panels) in Shōun-ji temple, now kept at Chishaku-in, Kyoto. Gold and color on paper. National Treasure of Japan.
