Summary

Description
English: The scientific work collects three letters of Galilei to the Mark Welser (1558-1614) refuting the thesis that sunspots are shadows cast on the solar surface by bodies moving between Earth and Sun. Aided by a functional illustrative apparatus, Galilei overturned the Ptolemaic solution in favor of the Copernican theory.
