中文（简体）：城市管理行政执法局，又称“城管”，是隶属于市容管理办公室的一个下属部门，属中華人民共和國国家事业单位。其职责是对城市市容市貌、佔道摆摊、乱搭乱建等影响市容的现象进行整顿治理。城管有权对违规当事人进行教育或罚款，对违规物品在出具暂扣证明后进行暂扣，当事人可凭暂扣证明去城管办公室接受教育或罚款后，保证以后不会再犯后可以领回被扣物品，理论上城管没有没收物品的权力。
在实际“执法”过程中，由于没有相应的法律依据，城管普遍存在执法违规现象，如收费、罚款不合理，没收物品，处分被没收物品，暴力执法，便衣执法，打砸抢等现象，引起民众普遍反感以及对流动商贩的普遍同情。城管与流动商贩之间的矛盾十分尖锐，常有城管在“执法”过程中伤害流动商贩或者被流动商贩伤害的事件见诸报端。 参看 |
