English: South Gate Avenue, located at the intersection of the Grand Canal and Lixia River. It beared the transportation function for cargos and passengers, and was the most bustling commercial district of the city during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now the avenue is about 230 meters long with more than 40 shops.
