that's just wrong[edit]

I have lived in Chile my whole life and I can assure you that most people here do NOT refer to the language that we speak as "castellano". everyone just calls it "español", so this image is wrong, at least as far as Chile is concerned, I wouldn't know about the other countries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.44.29.125 (talk) 12:12, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This image has an error[edit]

Here in Uruguay is more common to call the language as "Spanish", and "Castillian" is less common. While in the Uruguayan Constitution there is no reference about an official language, in some laws appears "idioma español" ("spanish language") instead of "castellano" ("castillian").

For example, this is a fragment from the Consumer Relations Law No. 17250, art. 13:

Artículo 13.- Toda información referente a una relación de consumo deberá expresarse en idioma español sin perjuicio que además puedan usarse otros idiomas...

Here is in english (to lazy english-speaker people who don't want to learn another language):

Article 13.- Any information relating to a consumer relationship should be expressed in Spanish language without prejudice can also use other languages ...
