RfC: Name too long?[edit]

I believe this name could be shortened to save time if and when this image is to be included in an article, and to avoid the creation of "spoof" names, such as "File:'Time and Timelessness', oil on canvas painting by Augustus Vincent Tack, Philips Collection (Washington D. C.).jpg" (note that "Philips" has only one lowercase "L"), which could be misleading.

I'm sure this piece could be just as uniquely identified with a name such as "File:'Time and Timelessness' by Augustus Vincent Tack.jpg" All the other information (e.g. location and type of work) could be placed in the file description. --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 01:18, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RfC: name too long? (again)[edit]

Is the name of this file too long? Is there a potential for "spoof" files with slightly different names? Anon126 (talk - contribs) 02:05, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would support it being moved to "File:'Time and Timelessness' by Augustus Vincent Tack.jpg" as you suggested, and the rest can be included in the description. --Another Type of Zombie talk 13:04, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
