This map[edit]

is insanely inaccurate as titled. It's possible there is some animal which possesses this range, but the idea that cattle roam the Sahara but are absent from South America, Australia, and the Eastern United States is little short of insane. Needs complete reworking or more accurate description. — LlywelynII 06:06, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have now completely re organized the map, its not perfect yet, but it should be in a few days after I do some more research, and the explanation of why the original was so inaccurate was it was on there native ranges and not just modern cattle, I am now in the process of redoing the map to show only modern cattle, please bear with me the next few days as I attempt to fix the remaining errors, Im sure there are many still to be found, you are free to edit and correct anything you see wrong in the map, when the map is complete it will be renamed File:Cattle range.png, but I will not move it until I'm sure its accurate. – Phoenix B 1of3 (talk) 18:15, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are definitely cows in northern South America - I've seen them in Ecuador. A quick google search proves that cattle industries exist in Peru, Colombia, and Venezuela as well. --98.114.176.218 (talk) 04:22, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are cows also everywhere in Finland... --Vnnen (talk) 19:42, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Venezuela and Colombia are big cows "producers", it's actually a big part of their culture. there are COWboys in the plains of both countries, can somebody change tha very WRONG picture? northern southamerica isn't just only jungle, these countries have all types of weather since they have the andes:: — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.25.14.141 (talk) 05:44, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
