Thanks for this example, but I think the expanded intermediate representations may be incorrect. For example, on the second, $|01\rangle$ case, after the first Hadamard the article has ${\frac {1}{\sqrt {2}}}(|00\rangle -|01\rangle +|10\rangle -|11\rangle )$ (the picture has ${\frac {1}{\sqrt {2}}}(|00\rangle +|10\rangle -|00\rangle -|11\rangle )$, I think the second $|00\rangle$ should be $|01\rangle$ in the third term) and after the CNOT the article has ${\frac {1}{\sqrt {2}}}(|00\rangle -|01\rangle +|11\rangle -|10\rangle )$ to the picture's ${\frac {1}{\sqrt {2}}}(|00\rangle +|11\rangle -|01\rangle -|11\rangle )$ (again, I think the last $|11\rangle$ term should be $|10\rangle$). There's a very good chance I misunderstood something, but wanted to check. This gate already confuses me enough without conflicting info :) nlowry (talk) 14:05, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
