RFC 5952 recommends representing hex digits a-f in lowercase. Can we change the picture to follow this recommendation. See also IPv6_address#Recommended_representation_as_text -—Kvng 17:20, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Leading zeros should be omitted from each group of 4 digits. The preferred representation for the example in the figure is "2001:db8:ac10:fe01::" -—Kvng 17:29, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
