Concerning licensing[edit]

The following was released as a .txt file on the enhanced CD version of New Magnetic Wonder (the file was titled "ScaleLicensing"):

The concept of this Non-Pythagorean scale and the related files are intended as public domain-- anyone may use, distribute, compose, and record with the scale, just credit Robert Schneider of The Apples in stereo for its creation if it comes up.

Temperament of Blue Bars[edit]

I'm not sure what temperament the blue bars show. The notation states 12-TET, but it does not appear to be ... 396 Hz on a 264 Hz root is 702 cents for a JI fifth, but 332.64 appears to be 400 for a 12-TET Maj3. Others ... I'm not sure. Have not looked into this deeply, but there appears to be a problem on the surface (unless my handy Excel calcs are messed up, which they could be).
