Looking at the tribes along the black sea, this map shifts significantly the locations of these inland tribes generally south and west of their locations as described by sources it cites. EG Herodotus describes the Scyrmiada as inland from the Greek Messembria, and the location presented on this map for Skirmiandoi is well to the south and east of where that should be. Also these are also descried it the ancient sources, and attested by the archeology as inland, not coastal
