Influences

[edit]

Shouldn't Protagoras be influenced by Parmenides? It is said that his treatise "On Truth" was specifically criticizing Parmenides' poem of the same title. What are these relations based on at all? --80.235.59.182 09:45, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The relations were based on what was said on the Wikipedia article for each philosopher when I first generated the graphic; there are probably some erroneous and many debatable relations in it. tresoldi 15:46, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think Zeno is more a disciple of Parmenides than Xenophanes, isn't he? --80.235.59.182 09:48, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I started working on that in a better way, with a bot for all general philosophic topics. It is called User:PhiloBot, but it will take a while to be ready. tresoldi 15:45, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
