Wrong label on the vertical axis?

[edit]

The way the curve is drawn, and especially given the labeling "break even" when its value becomes positive, implies to me that the label should be "Profit", instead of "Revenue". There is no such a thing as negative revenue, but a negative profit is a loss. And when a loss becomes a profit, that is when you have break-even. I agree that the vertical axis should read "Profit" and not "Revenues", this should be changed as it is very misleading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.174.119.254 (talk) 16:56, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Or maybe the title "Revenue" on the Y axis is correct, but the "break even" label should actually read "positive revenue"? It's obviously wrong as currently labeled, but my understanding is that firms typically aren't even fully in the marketplace, much less turning a profit, at the time that they receive Series A funding. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.191.196.136 (talk) 21:54, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Shouldn't the text-only file name "Startup_financing_cycle.JPG" (under "Source", right after ["Own work by uploader, derived from"] and right before ["by Kompere"]) be replaced with a hyperlink to the source file being referred to? (such as "[[File:Startup financing cycle.JPG]]" -- ?) Just an idea... from --Mike Schwartz (talk) 21:52, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
