Some corrections & addition of Hamza

[edit]

For some reason the alphabet Hamza was missing, I googled up and I found out that the Indian Govt's page for Urdu Alphabet is an exception that doesn't list Hamza under main alphabets (it mentions it in other derived alphabets), even though Hamza is recognized as a basic alphabet everywhere else. http://tdil.mit.gov.in/UrduDesignGuideOct02.pdf

I have made the following corrections:

  • Added Hamza to the list
  • Correct "Jim" to "jīm"
  • Corrected "ce" to "che"
  • Corrected "lāl" to "lām"
  • Corrected "Arr" to "Arre"
  • Moved "Alif" downwards to align it with the rest of the alphabets in the line
  • Moved Lam, Mim, Nun va'o upwards to align with the rest of the alphabets in the line
