Filip Maertens

Filip Maertens (born 1978) is a Belgian tech founder. He was founder of Securax (1999), a Belgium-based cyber-security consulting company (acquired), and founder at Argus Labs (rebranded Sentiance) [1][2] (2012), a Belgium-based context-aware profiling company.

As a cyber-security researcher, Maertens published multiple software vulnerabilities on Microsoft and Linux platforms,[3][4] and was a global trainer on the Extreme Hacking courses.[5]

As a public speaker, Filip has been on TEDx,[6][7] Cannes Lions,[8] LeWeb,[9] TheNextWeb,[10] Strata [11] and more.

Maertens was named Belgium's Top 50 Entrepreneur (2014) [12] and Innovator (2015).[13]
