Foundation KiKa

The Foundation KiKa (Dutch: Kinderen Kankervrij; English: Children Cancerfree) is a Dutch charity foundation that brings in fundings solely for research to childhood cancers. Renewing research to this form of cancer requires a treatment that specifically aims to the genomic properties.
KiKa supports the seven children cancer centers in the Netherlands:
- Sophia Kinderziekenhuis (Sophia Child hospital) in Rotterdam
- Willem-Alexander Kinder- en Jeugdcentrum (Willem-Alexander Child- and Youth center) in Leiden
- VU medisch centrum (VU Medical center) and Emma Kinderziekenhuis (Emma Child hospital) in Amsterdam
- Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis (Wilhelmina Child hospital) in Utrecht
- Beatrix kinderkliniek (Beatrix Child clinic) in Groningen
- Universitair Medisch Centrum St Radboud (University Medical Center St Radboud) in Nijmegen
Olympic swimming champion Inge de Bruijn is ambassador of the foundation.
