four11.com was a company that developed an Internet white pages directory for locating email addresses and collaborating using Internet phones, and videophones. It was acquired by Yahoo! in October 1997 $92 million in stock. Yahoo went on to develop Yahoo! Mail and offered free email to users.[1][2]
