Franco Lamanna (born 5 October 1991 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan rugby union player. He currently plays as a lock for Carrasco Polo Club.

Lamanna sterted playing rugby in his local team Carrasco Polo Club in Uruguay.

In mid 2014, he went to Europe to play for CUS Perugia Rugby in the Italian Serie A.[2]

In October 2014, during the game against the National Academy Ivan Francescato, he broke his crusader left and had to be operated urgently.[3] He recovered successfully from the injury and returned to his country to play again for Carrasco Polo Club.

International career

He has 21 caps for Uruguay, since 2012, scoring a total of 4 tries, 20 points on aggregate.
